Taiwan Visa Requirements

Taiwan offers the eVisa for tourism, business purposes. While all nationals can obtain a visa through their nearest embassy or consulate, eligible nationalities can conveniently apply online, avoiding the hassle of in-person visits.

Important Alerts:

• The following countries are eligible for Taiwan Travel Authorization (eVisa): Bahrain, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Burkina Faso, Colombia, Dominica, Ecuador, Kuwait, Mauritius, Montenegro, Oman, Panama, Peru, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Solomon Islands, Türkiye, and United Arab Emirates.
• Colombian passport holders must provide a valid visa or resident certificate issued by a Schengen country or a valid resident certificate or visa valid for more than 180 days issued by the United States.
• Foreign nationals invited to Taiwan for government-sponsored events may apply for an eVisa using an Ecode from the host. To apply, please email us at [email protected].
